Colors - Primary and Secondary
Parachute colors are one of those things that
are a little tricky to sort out, but every chute will have a Primary
Color which is most often White. Please
select a primary color that will make up the basic chute. If you
wish to have a chute that is all one color it will be a primary
color. Pick the Secondary Color(s) after
that. Secondary color(s) will make up the balance of the panels
on the chute.
How to read the product numbers.
Parachutes are named in a fashion that helps identify the size and nature of the chute. An example is a "P20H6" where P = Parachute, 20 = 20" skirt diameter, H = hemispherical and 6 = 6 panels with 6 shroud lines. Similarly, "P24Q8" where P=Parachute, 24 = 24" skirt diameter, Q = Quartershpher and 8 = 8 panels and 8 shroud lines.
What's a Quartersphere?
A quartersphere parachute is another style of parachute that is 3/4 the size of a full hemisphere. It has 1/4 less skirt material which allows the chute to be better defined. These chutes are able to perform as well as the hemisphere with a little less material at the bottom of the canopy shape.
Custom Projects
We can make a chute for you if we know your projects weight at motor burnout and the descent rate you prefer. The chute can be made to whatever color pattern you like from the colors listed on this page. It can be made either 6, 8, 10 or 12 panel. It can be made without a spill hole but we don't recommend it.
Custom Colors
Since we offer other colors your parachute will be made as a custom project and this will allow us to make chutes for you in any combination of the colors that we carry material for. The colors in the chart are, well, approximate.

Comment: I like anchor
parachutes... great worksmanship and an unbeatable guarantee...
No matter how you break it he'll fix it for free... Prices
are pretty good too... only problem is he doesn't make
really large parachutes. The 60" should be good
for your Talon 3 unless you got carried away and reinforced
it with cement (you could use two 40 inchers I guess
in that case.) Anchor will make any color you want and
you just can't beat the guarantee. I've flown a lot of
different parachutes and for the money these are great.
